The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between, and analyze the effect of elementary school homeroom teacher's emotional leadership on students' teacher-trust and students’ perceived degree of school life satisfaction. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on a total of 420 6th grade students from 10 elementary schools located within the Jeollanam-do province. The statistical methods for data analysis were descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation, and regression analysis. SPSS 17.0 for windows was used for the statistical data analysis. Several conclusions were reached after analyzing the data. First, when elementary school students perceive their homeroom teacher’s emotional leadership, their teacher-trust and degree of school life satisfaction are above average (M=3.93). Second, there exists a significant positive correlation between teacher's emotional leadership and both students’ teacher-trust and students’ school life satisfaction. Third, teacher's emotional leadership has a direct influence on students' teacher-trust, and student’s satisfaction with school life. The results of this study imply that teacher's emotional leadership plays a powerful role in enhancing students' teacher-trust and students’ school life satisfaction.
