The purpose of this study is to investigate how much elementary school students developed their English proficiency and how much their attitudes and interests were affected by a specially planned Content-based Program in an English camp. Additionally, it is an attempt to investigate the correlation between content-related subject matters such as social studies, science, mathematics, and English. The English camp provides an opportunity basis for implementing the program in which 35 elementary students participated and were exposed to the CBI program. English proficiency in listening and reading was assessed by the PELT Assessment A questionnaire to analyze the participants' interest and concerns about the program was also distributed. The results of the study are as follows. First, the students' English proficiency scores in listening and reading are increased. Second, they would like to study English more and harder through the questionnaire. Finally, they would learn more through this kind of English program because they would learn new concepts and things through the program. Therefore, this kind of study can be a useful guide for teachers or researchers, as it provides a model of a concrete and systematic content-based program. Based on this study, it is necessary to further develop content-based teaching and learning materials.
