This study aims to provide fundamental data to develop working environment and improve labor conditions of female professional golfers by examining relationship among professional golfer's work, organization factor, external factor of work and turnover intention.
This survey was conducted with 235 female pro-golfers who are belonging to a corporation aggregate KLPGA(Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association) in November, 2007. The subject of study is the female pro-golfers who are taking golf lessons in Kyeonggi-do(Suwon city, Youngin city) and who are participating a regular tour, dream tour, senior tour with having lessons at the same time. The result is followed.
First, job autonomy among the work factors has an influence the turnover intention negative. The result reveals that depending on the level of job autonomy which is given to organization member, the level of job satisfaction are elevated and appropriate autonomy to the member is a significant factor of decreasing the turnover intention.
Second, the human relation and organizational commitment among the work factors have an negative influence on the turnover intention.
It explains that the sense of belonging and a unity is the primary factor that decreases the turnover intention of the members of an organization.
Third, the external factors of work turned out to decrease on the turnover intention. This shows that a female pro-golfer's intention of changing job tends to decline by the external factors of work such as a sense of pride on her organization and the level of job satisfaction with the job.
