This study aims at analyzing the factors that affect their job satisfaction to seek plans for the reduction of turnover and furnish basic data on the systematic and effective human resources management. To attain this object, a survey was made on hair designers working in Seoul and the metropolitan area, Busan metropolitan city, and Kyungnam area from July 18to August 30, 2009. Except for unclear stated questionnaires, total 443 copies were finally analyzed. It showed that the general job satisfaction factor is 3.18 points and their turnover intention were also 2.92 points on the average, respectively. It is also showed that high satisfaction with job specifications colleagueship and economic factor of hair designers raises job satisfaction, which improvement in satisfaction with their job specifications, colleagueship and economic factor is an important factor in raising job satisfaction. Consequently, the reduction of hair designers’ turnover will have to seek a policy of reducing employee’s role ambiguity through monitoring of job specifications factor with an institutional improvement plan for job satisfaction or communityimproving program to raise the quality of exchange relation with colleague and supervisor.
