Recently, trade-environment connect problems are very importance issues in the world. this problems causing the trade confliction between developed countries and developing countries. Therefore, it is extremely important that Korea recovers or reinforces its international competitiveness.
This paper analyzes the trade - environment connect situation of United State, Japan, Germany, Singapore and Korea.
The data for the analysis are as follows.
period: 1983 -1993 year
Industry: 47 pollute industries (classified by SITC 3 digit)
This paper concludes based on the results of the analysis on trade - environment connect situations as follows.
1. Pollution of CO₂, SO₂, are high degree when compare Korea with Other countries. this means that pollution intensity of Korea economy are high.
2. Rates of pollute intensive industries in Korea export are middle degree when compare Korea with other countries.
3. Rates of pollute intensive industries in Korea export are decrease continueously. 4. RCA index of pollute intensive industries in Korea are increase gradually.
