This study examines the introduction of an asset building program for disabled workers. The research contents include analysis of statistical data, review of domestic and foreign similar systems, and review of the effectiveness of the asset building system.
As a result of the study, three methods of introducing asset building for disabled workers were suggested. Option 1, targets disabled workers aged 15-55, less than 300 people, and less than the average wage. First option’s applicants can sign up for a two-year or three-year savings plan. Options 2, targets disabled workers aged 40-55, less than 300 people, and less than the average wage. Second option’s applicants can receive the maturity amount at the age of 50 and 55. Option 3, is a pension-type savings account that anyone aged 15-49 can join. Third option’s applicants can receive an annual pension from the age of 50. Options 2 and 3 are characterized by avoiding overlap with existing projects and supporting old-age security.
