Report Errors

The purpose of this study was to propose a plan for hiring the disabled based on regional characteristics to promote employment of the disabled who are relatively difficult to find employment. The subject of the study is Jeonju City, and it is the first regional study targeting a local government.
The main research methods and contents are: First, the industrial structure of Jeonju and the labor market for the disabled were analyzed by analyzing regional characteristics, and the employment policy and status of the disabled in Jeonju were analyzed. Second, the characteristics of the labor market and jobs for the disabled in Jeonju were analyzed, and the problems of hiring the disabled were diagnosed. Finally, by synthesizing the previous two, the directions for revitalizing the employment of the disabled in Jeonju and the plan for action were suggested from three aspects.
