The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the instructor’s expertise recognized by college students participating in land class on the interest and value perception of the class, and the effect of the instructor’s expertise on the interest and value perception of the class, and the interest and value of the class. It is to examine the effect of each on perception. In this study, the population of students participating in the athletics class among the four-year university physical education departments located in City B was selected as the population, and 256 students were selected by the convenient sampling method in the sampling method. For the collected data, Cronbach’s αvalue was used for frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and reliability verification using the SPSS 25.0 program. In addition, multiple regression analysis was used to find out the relationship that the instructor’s expertise perceived by college students participating in the land class influences the interest and value perception of the class. As a result, first, the professionalism of instructors in the land class had a significant effect on the degree of interest in the class, but among the sub-factors of the degree of interest, textbook research did not. Also, student management did not affect interest among the sub-variables of subject competence. However, interest was also found to have a statistically integrated effect. Second, it was found that the professionalism of instructors in land class had a significant effect on value perception. Third, it was found that the degree of interest in class recognized by college students participating in the land class had a significant effect on value perception. However, in social value, a sub-variable of value perception, interest and subject competence, sub-variable, did not affect.
