The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of learning immersion on liberal arts physical education during the COVID pandemic, specifically its effects on online and practical classes. In other words, it gives an in-depth explanation of the effect a professor"s major has on class satisfaction, class immersion, and the effects class immersion has on class satisfaction. Despite the drastic increase in online practical classes in the recent pandemic, there seemed to be a lack of research on the effects a professor"s major had on class satisfaction which led to this study. For the results shown above, this study conducted a survey among 312 students who attended online lectures for practical portion from 3/7 - 3/11 in 2022. The research result is as follows. First, a professor"s major has positive effects on class satisfaction. Second, a professor"s major has positive effects on class immersion. Third, class immersion is a medium between a professor"s major and class satisfaction. The implication of this study is to investigate the effects a professor"s major had on class satisfaction by using learning immersion. Thus, it is shown that a professor"s major has a positive influence on class satisfaction and that class immersion can show even more positive effects. This conclusion proves that online classes made a significant contribution to the practical portion of the classes.
