The purpose of this study was to systemize the nature, object and content of technology education in middle school to create an organic mutual relationship among the components of that curriculum. Specifically, For that purpose, to review the literature on the construction and development of curriculum and research study were implemented together. The brief findings of this study were as below: 1. Concerning the nature of technology education, technology subject was defined in middile school as general cultural, integrated subject and lifetime technology subject. And technology education was defined as having an understanding of the substance and characteristics of technological knowledge. 2. The object of technology subject was grouped into three: substantial, functional and ultimate objects. And the integrated goal of technology education was presented by putting the three kinds of objects together. 3. The educational content was categorized into three stages : theme-centered technology exploration, use of project-centered instruction and application of problem solving centered technology.
