The 7th curriculum which will be applied in 2003 forecasts to have many changes in education and social system, because it is to be propelled with the reform of educational system and to advance into Information Age and Globalism. The industry subject of the 6th curriculum which is chosen by school authority will be shifted to the industrial technology subject of the 7th curriculum which is chosen by the student himself through the reform education in 2003. And the community in 2003 need to educational system for an initiative spirit. This study is aimed to suggest a proposal in the industry technology subject of the 7th curriculum for the changes and need in 2003. The conclusions are suggested as follows. 1. For the extension of initiative spirit, Industrial Technology Subject needs to effort to free oneself from the educational view of literlacy subject for life and vocational training. 2. It is necessary to introduce the engineering concept of Industrial Technology subject is supposed to be the applicants for entrance to college of engineering. 3. In career education in Industrial Technology subject, the findings of aptitude and interest in the practical application of science and engineering field can be more emphasized than skill and attitude in vocation.
