The purpose of this study is to investigate middle school students` attitude toward technology, technology education and their related factors. This study was conducted through survey, as following: 1)Selecting factors and scales for the measurement of attitude toward Technology and Technology subject. 2)The questionnaires were developed on basis of related factors of the attitude toward technology and technology subject in the middle school. The target group were made up of 512 students of the 9 middle schools selected cluster sampling. The tendency of total and each scale and the contrast of factors were analyzed at the 0.01 or 0.05 level of significance. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1)The overall attitudes of middle school students toward technology shows a positive tendency and its average score was 69.68. The overall attitudes of middle school students towards technology subject of the middle school students shows less positive tendency than that of technology and its average score was 54.52. 2)The factors such as sex, career, an advanced school, occupations of family, experience of laboratory activity, concern or expectation of technology teacher, the units of student`s interest in technology subject affect the middle school students` attitude toward technology. 3)The factors such as sex, career, an advanced department, advanced school, concern or expectation of parent, experience of laboratory activity, concern or expectation of technology teacher, the units of student`s interest in technology subject affect the middle school students` attitude toward technology subject. 4)There was average interaction effect between attitude toward technology and attitude toward technology subject in the middle school.
