The purpose of this study was to analyze the 6th technical high school curriculum and to propose the directions for reform. The contents of analysis were the characteristics and objectives, the composition of vocational department and course, and the guideline for curriculum organization and operation of the technical high school presented to the 6th curriculum. The national curriculum, curriculum guideline of the local board of education, and the school curriculum were analyzed. Based on this results, the directions for the technical high school curriculum reform were proposed as the followings. 1) The technical high school curriculum have to be forcused on the basic competency of entry level. 2) The department of environmental technology should be a standard department in the national curriculum. 3) The subjects for theory band practice have to be integrated as one. 4) The technical high school curriculum should be composed in directions to enlarge autonomy of the local board of education and schools. 5) Students` the right of choice have to be reinforced. 6) The supervised occupational experiences should be presented as a subject. 7) Based on the job analysis, the subject contents have to be selected. 8) The national technical qualification have to be given after the students master the technical course and the technical high school curriculum should be articulated to the post-secondary education. 9) The technical subjects and its contents have to be reduced. 10) The national curriculum should be presented easily and the curriculum guideline of the local board of education and the school curriculum supervised and to be planed and operated correctly.
