Flight attendants working in the cabin face high stress. This kind of high stress negatively affects flight attendants both physically and mentally. Research shows that dissatisfaction at work, inefficient organizational behavior, reduced achievements, increase of absences, and job changes are due to stress. This research investigated the effects of personality’s 5 factors on job stress and turnover intention for flight attendants. The main results of this research are summarized as follows. First, the higher the neuroticism factor among the personality factors of the flight attendant, the greater the job stress, and the higher the openness and agreeableness, the lesser the job stress. Secondly, the job stress of the flight attendant has a huge impact on the degree of turnover. Finally, extraversion and conscientiousness among the personality factors of flight attendant did not have any significant effect on job stress.
