The purpose of this study was to develop a hypermedia lesson as the mind tools for stimulating motives in chapterHuman's Hereditary Disease' of high school biology science I by analyzing Keller's ARCS strategies, and investigate the effects of programs and student's interview for possibilities of the usage. The lesson,Human's Hereditary Disease' applied by hypermedia was developed with multimedia software design principle based on ARCS strategies. Students learned this programs which consisted of realizing problems, research, inquiring values, and solving problems, but they could freely learn the lesson based on students' abilities and learn what they want whenever they do. The lesson,Human's Hereditary Disease' was instructed to 30 students in the second grade at the computer classroom where all the students could individually use each computer. After learning the hypermedia, 12 students was freely selected for interviews on attention, relation, confidence, and satisfaction factor in order to find out the effects of the programs. After interview, the results showed us that students interestedly learned the lesson and concentrated on the lesson thanks to the movies and pictures related with human hereditary disease. Inquiry activities related with real life made students learn voluntarily. Also, these various learning contents gave them confidence for solving the problems related with hereditary disease and provided students with an opportunity to learn the next contents and satisfaction. Therefore, the result of this study will provide high school teachers with various teaching methods strategies in chapter,Human's Hereditary Disease'.
