Before learning Mendel's law of heredity, inquiry activities of interpreting Mendel's experiments which can help understanding theoretical Mendel's laws of heredity and make a chance to exercise science process skills were presented at nine kinds of science 3 textbooks (9th grade textbooks in the-seventh-curriculum) in common. Inquiry activities of interpreting Mendel's experiments were composed of inheritance of a pair of allele and that of two pairs of allele. In this research, inquiry activities of interpreting Mendel's experiments presented nine kinds of science 3 textbooks were grouped by the difference between traditional learning environment and constructive learning environment. Here we analyzed the types of grouping inquiry activities and proposed teaching strategies of connecting Mendel's experiments with his hypotheses. Following analysis, all middle science 3 textbooks deal with the activity of interpreting Mendel's experiments which can help understanding theoretical Mendel's laws of heredity and make a chance to exercise science process skills. The activity of interpreting Mendel's experiments treat inheritance of one pair of trait and that of two pairs of trait. In each case, the activity is grouped by learning content and the difference of traditional learning environment and constructive learning environment. This research analysed types of grouping the activity and suggested teaching Mendel's hypotheses in connection with his well-planned scientific experiments.
