The purpose of this study was to develop module inquiring out Mendel’s law of inheritance using Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans). We searched suitable C. elegans mutants based on phenotype for the module development. In collaboration with CGC (C. elegans Genomic Center), the proper mutants were selected for preliminary module. The preliminary module was evaluated by experts and 12 juniors of C university. After testing the module, it is revised for the final inquiry test design module. This module consists of 5 class hours; observation of C. elegans, identification of dominant and recessive trait, recognizing law of segregation. Advantages of module are is like as follows. First, It is possible despite lack of experimental materials. Second, It takes less time than a previous testing module. Third, It is enhanced abilities that acquire inquiry process as well as genetic concept.
