The main purpose of this study is to analyze the web-based STS Biology instruction program (WB-STS)'s effects on the students' learning motivation. The specific target problem of this study was as follows; How much effect would WB-STS have on learning motivation (internal motivation, self-efficacy) of science high school students? To solve the above mentioned problem, several procedures were applied. First, to examine the effects of WB-STS on science high school students' emotional aspects, 2 classes of students(N=40) of a science high school in Busan were sampled and participated in the experiment. Two classes were parceled out into experimental and control groups, the experimental group participated in an adapted WB-STS for 8 weeks. To identify the effects of WB-STS program on learning motivation of science high school students, a statistical analysis method (ANCOVA) was applied. The main results of this study are summarized below: First, students showed high interest in WB-STS and gave a positive evaluation of WB-STS program. Second, there are significant positive effects on improving students learning motivation.
