This study presents Japanese department’s own IT convergence curriculum and implementation to prepare for decrease of labor workforce due to a rapid birth decease. Japanese department has educated students with one of its own major tracks not with a minor or dual degree in computer science-related field. Labor workforce decrease has influenced overall industry. Particularly, Japan has met with insufficiency of labor workforce. IT field is no exception. In this situation, Japan has been looking out for the IT talents first unlike the past, when they focused on the Japanese language and personality first. According to this situation, this study points out two problems-one is the increase maladjustment due to practicality lowering in IT, the other, the increased competitions among the institutes-present the solutions which Japanese department can do for them as the student training institute.
This study deals with the needs of diversification for training students so that the students can enter the company related with SI and Solution. And this study describes the ways of required educations which enable the students to adapt themselves to IT area in Japan. This Study could be a kind of reference for job security in Japanese IT by presenting trials and errors and know hows in education of students to move into Japan IT.
