The study was conducted to analysis of the relationship related to cooking qualification acquisition and career decisions awareness among high school students majoring in cooking. The results are as follows. Students are interested in obtaining a cooking certificate mainly after high school(61.1%). In order to obtain it, 43% of them studies in school and 37.6% did in a private educational institute. Regarding obtaining a cooking certificate, the most answer was the absence of it (45.2%), followed by two certificates (21.7%), one (21.3%) and three (11.8%). The certificate related to Korean food is 22.2%, followed by Western food 17.9%, breads making 12.2%, confectionary making 8.8%, Chinese food 7.5% and Japanese food 1.8%. Concerning awareness of a curriculum to obtain a cooking certificate, the most answer (4.03) was that it was useful to learn basic cooking skills. Concerning awareness of a cooking certificate utilizing it, the most answer (3.79) was that it has a very close affinity to entering college and job hunting. Concerning the influential factors in their career decision, the most answer was their own choice (4.16). And, the usefulness for job hunting now or in the future (3.78), followed by satisfaction of principles and practical training (3.69), the status of obtaining a certificate (3.61), social recognition (3.43). Regarding the correlation among a training course, a cooking certificate and influential factors for career decision, the coefficient of correlation between a curriculum and the awareness of utilizing the certificate was higher than any other factor (0.706, p<0.05). However, the coefficient of correlation between the satisfaction of curriculum and dependent cognition was the lowest; 0.215 (p<0.05). And The awareness of a curriculum (b=0.546, t=8.151***) is the most influential factor for the awareness of career decision.
