This article has two objectives: firstly, to contribute to a decolonial reading of the Andean colonial texts such as Inca Garcilaso de la Vega’s Royal Commentaries of the Incas (first part in 1609 and second part 1617) and Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala’s The First New Chronicle and Good Government (1615/1616); secondly, to reveal the Korean’s prejudices over the Andes and its inhabitants. In the Andean colonial texts, there are many passages that apparently seen as an absurdity or a falsification of history. However, in many cases, these are devices to write back the historiography imposed by the Spanish. Therefore, the great merit of Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala and Inca Garcilaso de la Vega was the war history against colonial discourses.
