This research examines the relationships among burnout, emotional labor, and happiness of early childhood teachers. Participants consist of 259 early childhood teachers. Based on multiple regression analysis, the result of this study indicates that three variables used in this study are significantly correlated. Burnout and emotional labor of early childhood teachers has statistically significant impacts on their happiness. Specifically, incompetence and physical and emotional exhaustion, sub-variables of the burnout, and surface acting and deep acting sub-variables of the emotional labor have statistically significant impacts on teachers` happiness. It turns out that burnout and emotional labor are critical variables in explaining the happiness of early childhood teachers. Based on the finding, this study suggests that the early childhood teachers should be supported and encouraged to reduce the level of burnout. We cooperate to find ways of preventing teacher burnout. Additionally, they need to learn how to learn to control and manage their emotional expression and behaviors in positive ways if they are to enhance their happiness.
