Police"s scientific crime detection has been advanced so far. In particular, recent scientific crime detection policy can be evaluated that it has been promoted in a desirable way that there are enhancement of professionalism through the secure of professionals and education, development of scientific crime detection techniques, secure of up-to-date equipment and improvement of autopsy system. However, there are also aspects that they cannot respond sufficiently to the peoples" expectation or environmental changes.
Hence, to respond effectively to the ever-increasing requirement for the development in scientific crime detection there is a need to increase the number of forensic personnels a lot and to introduce systematic verification and authentic system on education program and instructors as well as forensic people to enhance professionalism. And it is needed to establish a forensic science research institute in police organization and to prepare plans that medicolegal experts have authority and responsibility considering the importance of autopsy system. And in a macroscopic view it is needed for police to try to change the attitude of government so that they newly understand the forensic science as a nationally important thing.
