In Korea, it has been said that the modem land ownership began to be established by the Land Survey Project under the japanese imperialism. It was through this project and related legislations that the dual system of cadastral and registration of real estate ownership was enforced in our country. Also, there has been non-corresponding parcels on the national scale and it caused by inside and outside of legal system in real estate, as there are various bottlenecks in the recognition of public confidence of cadastral and registration. The study aims to analyse comparatively and historically the cadastral and the land registration of land survey projects in Korea. The study consists of four parts including the introduction. The second part reviews on the system of cadastral and registration of the Land Survey Project under the japanese imperialism. The third part compares the cadastral resurvey project legislative bill(1996) with the special land survey legislative bill(2006) and the cadastral non-corresponding parcels arrangement legislative bill(2009) in the system of cadastral and registration. Finally, I conclude a need for link between the public announcement system and the cadastral resurvey project. There is a need to plan the integration of the system of cadastral and registration as a long-term alternative.
