In this article, I would like to do research in Choe, Chi-won's thought not with the existing macro analytical method, but with micro analytical method.
We are here concerned with the events and people cited by Choe, Chi-won. It is sure that while writing Great-Nanghye Hwasang Inscription, he considered lots of events and figures, which was from his learning base. It is certain that he picked out and used the necessary ones that he thought it was. I paid attention to this, in which events cited by Choe, Chi-won was put on the main source that I considered his thought and its tendency. So I limited discussion to many of his citations on Chinese history.
In Great-Nanghye Hwasang Inscription wrote after Peasant uprising A.D. 889. He underscored that lords should open the office to the talented, and paid attention to the meritorious subjects of Han including Chang, Lyang. More in which you can't miss that he was interested in local governors and recluses retired themselves from the world and pedigree.
When reflecting these problems, one can assume that feel out the situation and find the way to overcome the utterly confusing state. It disclosed his belief for the overcome defficulty problems of state that it is important to engage men of ability and that it hasn't to miss the proper time for reform and that it is to emphasize Han dynasty as a good example for develeopment state.
Forethemour it is certain that he wanted to administration of centering around more the prime minister than the king in the affairs of state.
