So far 〈Park-chun-nam-jun〉was regarded as a kind of creative novel written by Park Kun Hoe, although it was originated from the Japanese traditional folk story of Momotaro.
However according to a bibliographic research, 〈Park-chun-nam-jun〉is the Korean adaption from 〈Hanmun-Ilpon-Hogul-Dotaerangjun(Momotaro - The young Japanese hero (written in Korean)〉 arranged by Kanasima Daisu, the one of Japanese translator.
And 〈Hanmun-Ilpon-Hogul-Dotaerangjun〉 is also the Korean adaption from 〈Momotaro〉 the first edition written by Iwaya Sajanami, the famous Japanese author.
Thus actually 〈Park-chun-nam-jun〉is the first Korean adaption from Iwaya Sajanami's 〈Momotaro〉 and the existing opinion has to be corrected.
Then I investigated the channel of the adaption of 〈Park-chun-nam-jun〉. Kanasima Daisu was a translating expert and adapted Iwaya Sajanami's 〈Momotaro〉. Park Kun Hoe was a boss of CHOSUNSUIKWAN, the publishing company. CHOSUNSUIKWAN published Kanasima Daisu's Japanese studying book. It seemed that Park Kun Hoe gots Kanasima Daisu's text in that process.
The case of 〈Park-chun-nam-jun〉's adaption means that there might be the possibility of the another way of Korean novel's formation. Because there are a lot of novel written by the unknown original text. So the minute research is needed to them.
