This paper reexamines the importance of Ethics Education and presents the necessity and practical approaches of an evidence-based approach to effectively implement it. In light of recent curriculum revisions that may lead to the reduction of moral education, the importance of scientific evidence to demonstrate the necessity and effectiveness of moral education has become more pronounced. The paper discusses the concept and necessity of evidence-based Ethics Education and analyzes the barriers and facilitators encountered during the design and implementation of Ethics Education. It also addresses the need for unlearning in a rapidly changing educational environment and explores strategies for restructuring moral education through evidence and frame shifts. Furthermore, it examines how the cyclical relationship between moral development theories and evidence can maximize the effectiveness of moral education and suggests ways to utilize classrooms and schools as sites for generating evidence. In conclusion, the paper emphasizes that understanding the essence of Ethics Education and effectively implementing it requires an evidence-based approach, which necessitates collaboration within the academic community and ongoing research.
