The purpose of this study is to analyze the trend of research on instructional design related to domestic special education from 2000 to 2014. A total of 18 articles were selected and analyzed in terms of research topic, type of research, subjects and year. The major findings of this study are as follows : The first article about the instructional design was published in 2002. The most referred research topic was the relation between instructional design and instructional performance in special education classroom. Relatively, there was no research on instructional design in integrated education classroom. The prevalent type of research were survey studies not experimental studies. Finally, the most targeted research subjects were special education school teachers. The instructional design was strongly emphasized in the school field.
