This study examines the influence of smart education on class immersion and class satisfaction in a middle school physical education(PE) class. One hundred and seventy-four middle school students in six classes in second and third grades in Gyeonggi Province, Korea were selected as subjects. Musical jump rope was conducted in this research, and the teacher’s personal smart device was used to perform the smart education. Data were collected by the survey for class immersion and class satisfaction. The result were analyzed using SPSS version 22.0 software, and was used to ascertain the result, and t-test was used to analyze the differences between the pre-analysis and the post-analysis. The major results are noted here: First of all, smart education resulted in a general improvement in PE class immersion. Second, a disparity in class immersion between the genders was clearly revealed in the smart PE class. Third, the enhancement of class satisfaction was occurred in the smart PE class. Fourth, the differences in the class satisfaction between genders was obvious in the smart PE class. Based on the results, school physical education that the concept of smart education is applied could positively influence on middle school students' class immersion and satisfaction.
