Purpose: This study explores the implications of artistic model of curriculum for elementary integrated curriculum. Methods: In this study, based on the concept and type of artistic model of curriculum, the concept and development process of elementary integrated curriculum, the implications of artistic model of curriculum are discussed. Results: As a result of the study, the artistic model of curriculum has implications for the integrated curriculum in three aspects: first, the artistic model of curriculum can be applied as a base theory that can have conceptual uniqueness. Second, the role of teachers in the artistic model of curriculum is similar to that of teachers in the integrated curriculum. Third, as the diversity of instruction in the artistic model of curriculum is supplemented by teachers, the diversity and complexity of instruction in the integrated curriculum are supplemented by teachers. In addition, the evaluation of integrated curriculum increases the validity and suitability through the educational criticism of the artistic model of curriculum. Conclusion: I hope this study will be the beginning of exploring the relationship between the artistic model of curriculum and the integrated curriculum.

연구목적 이 연구는 예술적 교육과정의 개념과 유형에 대한 논의들이 초등 통합교과에 주는 함의를 탐구하였다. 연구방법 이 연구의 연구방법은 텍스트(text)를 바탕으로 한 문헌연구이다. 텍스트는 예술적 교육과정의 개념과 유형, 초등 통합교과의 개념과 발전 과정에 관한 문헌들이다. 연구결과 연구결과, 세 가지 면에서 예술적 교육과정은 통합교과에 함의를 갖는다. 첫째, 예술적 교육과정은 통합교과가 개념적으로 고유성을 가질 수 있는 기반 이론으로 적용 가능하다. 둘째, 예술적 교육과정에서 교사의 역할은 통합교과에서 교사의 역할과 유사하면서 확장된다. 셋째, 예술적 교육과정에서 수업의 다양 성이 교사에 의해 보완되듯이, 통합교과에서 수업의 다양성과 복잡성도 교사에 의해 보완된다. 또한 예술적 교육과정의 교육비평과 같이 통합교과의 평가 결과로서 교사의 비평은 평가 산출물로서 정당성을 갖는다. 결론 연구결과에 따른 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등 통합교과의 정체성 또는 학문적 고유성에 대한 연구는 분과에 대한 비판적 연구보다는 교육의 인식론적 연구에서 모색되어야 한다. 둘째, 예술적 교육과정의 총체적 특성은 교사, 학습자, 학자, 교육과정 개발자 등의 관점에서 다양하게 이해 및 적용될 수 있다. 셋째, 초등 통합교과를 실천하는 교사들의 교육 실천 양태가 예술적 교육과정과 어떠한 관련성을 갖는지연구할 필요가 있다. 예술적 교육과정은 미학을 기반으로 정립된 교육과정의 대안적 관점으로 초등 통합교과의 학문적 고유성을 찾아가는 여정에 중요한 기반이 될 것으로 확신하며, 이 연구가 그 시작이 되길 기대한다.
