The purpose of this study was to verify the effects of video modeling-linked music making activities on the cooking job skills of high school students with intellectual disabilities. The study participants consisted of three students with intellectual disabilities in the high school course of a special school. The experimental environment consisted of classroom in special schools and kitchens in restaurant businesses. For the research design, the technique of multiple probe design across subjects through a single subject research was used. The intervention program for independent variables consisted of a linkage procedure in which participants made music composed of melodies and lyrics by watching and imitating scenes of video modeling. Cooking job skills consisting of dependent variables was defined as the performance of participants cooking patbingsu directly in restaurant businesses with patbingsu as their main menu, and a total of 10 sub-skills were constructed through task analysis.As a result of the study, participants effectively acquired cooking job skills through video modeling-linked music making activities, and also showed effective results in generalized evaluation in which locations were differentiated. Through this, it was concluded that the mutual validity between video modeling-linked music making activities and cooking job skills performance could be improved, and discussions and suggestions were made focusing on the influencing factors that could establish the above conclusion.
