DEA (Data Envelope Analysis) has been applied in various fields as a non-parametric method to analyze the relative efficiency of organizations that produce multiple outputs using multiple input factors. In this study, a VRM Window model capable of analyzing changes in efficiency of time series data with negative values was presented, and a web-based analysis system was developed to support VRM Window analysis. The research results derived through this study are summarized as follows.
First, instead of the variable conversion method that converts negative values into positive numbers, a VRM Window model that can process negative values regardless of the DEA model is presented. Second, the results of applying the VRM model and the VRM Window model were derived for the efficiency change trend analysis, and empirical analysis proved that the discriminative power of the VRM Window analysis method was greater by using the coefficient of variation. Third, we developed a web-based analysis system that supports VRM Window analysis that can handle negative values and provides an Excel interface and visualization service of the analysis results.
