This study focuses on Beijing Joonghwa Shinbo, Joonghwa Shinbo, Shaminbo which are considered as the major newspapers in Modern China and played an important role in publishing Korean literary works. Many articles written by talented writers were discovered from these newspapers. These newspapers are considered to be more inclined to publish Korean writers’ works than any other newspapers. In this study, I have investigated Beijing Joonghwa Shinbo, Joonghwa Shinbo and Shaminbo to unearth the poems written in Classical Chinese by Korean writers such as Kim Chang-kang, Kim Ki-han, or Park Kyung-ha. After examining the microfilms of the three aforementioned journals, one piece of poetry by Kim Taek-young was found in Beijing Joonghwa Shinbo, and in Joonghwa Shinbo 6 poems by Kim Ki-han and one by Park Kyung-ha. In addition to this, another poem by Park Kyung-san(another name of Park Kyung-ha) was found in Shaminbo. Kim Taek-young’s activities have been relatively widely studied, but this is not the case for Kim Ki-han and Park Kyung-ha. It is important that Kim Chang-kang’s, Kim Ki-han’s, and Park Kyung-ha’s poems were unearthed in renowned Chinese newspapers. What is more important is the fact that traces and evidence of their activities have been discovered. They worried about the country and sang for loyalty without losing their consciousness in difficult circumstances. Kim Ki-han used pen names such as Kim Kook-hyun, Jeong Bo, Choo Kang, or Jik Jae. So did Park Kyung-ha, using pseudonyms like Park Byung-kang, Park Kyung-san or Park Kyung-in. It can be explained that these independence activists had to hide their true identity to the imperialist Japanese authorities. While they lived indeed as independence activists, there has been little or no concrete evidence of their achievements. This study is meaningful because it researched some activities they had done. I hope there is more research about them. In addition, it should be noted that the literary works of our writers have been widely published in the Chinese modern media, and a detailed investigation of these should follow.

본고에서는 중국 근대에 중요한 신문으로 평가되는 『북경중화신보』, 『중화신보』, 『사민보』를 중심으로 한국인들의 작품 발굴에 나섰다. 중국의 주요 일간지로 꼽히는 이 신문들에서 이미 한국 문인들이 쓴 논설들이 적잖이 발견되었다. 본 연구자는 이들 신문의 마이크로필름을 뒤진 결과 『북경중화신보』에서 김택영의 시 1편을, 상해 『중화신보』에서 김기한의 한시 6편과 박경하의 한시 1편을 찾을 수 있었다. 그리고 『사민보』에서도 박경하의 한시 1편을, 『藝林叢刊』에서 김택영의 한시 1편을 찾을 수 있었다. 기존 연구에서 김택영의 활동은 어느 정도 밝혀져 있지만, 김기한과 박경하의 삶에 대해서는 거의 알려지지 않았다. 그런데 이번 연구에서 김창강과 김기한, 그리고 박경하의 한시를 중국 주요 신문에서 발굴해내고, 아울러 그들의 활동을 밝혀낸 것은 새로운 성과라고 할 수 있다. 이들은 나라를 걱정하며 어려운 가운데도 대의를 잃지 않고 우국충정을 노래했다. 김기한은 김국현, 정보, 추강, 직재 등, 박경하는 박병강, 박경산, 박경인 등 다양한 이름을 사용했다. 그것은 독립운동가로 활동하며 일제 당국에 신분을 숨기기 위한 방편으로 이해된다. 그들은 독립운동가로 살았지만, 아직까지 구체적인 행적이 제대로 드러나지 않았다. 이번 연구에서 그들의 활동을 알 수 있는 한시를 찾아낸 것은 의미가 있다. 앞으로 이들에 대한 구체적인 연구가 이루어졌으면 하는 바람이다. 그리고 우리 문인들의 글이 중국 근대 매체에 적지 않게 발표되었다는 점도 주목을 요하는데, 이에 대한 세밀한 조사도 뒤따라야 한다.
