Fish and soybean meal is used for protein raw materials for animal feed, but alternative resources are needed due to that price increase. Black soldier fly larvae (BFL) usually contain around 40% protein and 30% fat, which can be used as a protein source of animal feed. This study was carried out to know the effects of ethanol and hexane ratio for BFL lipid removal.
