본 연구의 목적은 초등학교 표현활동(무용) 학습영역과 관련된 연구물을 대상으로 논문유형, 연구분야, 목 적, 주제, 학습활동, 연구설계, 연구기간, 연구방법론, 연구대상, 자료수집 및 자료분석기법을 분석하여 주요 연구동향과 후속 방향을 제시하는데 두었다. 분석대상 연구물은 총 306편(석사논문 167편, 박사논문 12편, 학술지 105편, 기타 22편)이며, 빈도분석과 교차분석, 내용분석 및 귀납적 범주분석을 통해 분석되었다. 주요 분석결과는 다음과 같다: (1)연구분야는 교수학습(65.7%), 교육과정(17.0%), 교사교육(13.7%) 순으로 나타 났고, 주요 연구목적은 학습효과(30.1%), 프로그램 개발과 효과검증(11.4%), 학습내용 개발(9.2%), 교사의 인식(9.2%) 순으로 높은 비중을 차지하였다. (2)연구주제는 기술(55.4%), 지식(32.1%), 태도(3.2%) 순으로 나타났다. (3)주요 학습활동은 신체적 표현활동(49.7%), 무용수업(23.5%), 창작무용(7.5%) 순으로 나타났다. (4)연구설계는 횡단연구가 전체의 43.5%를 차지하였고, 연구방법은 질적 연구(37.3%), 양적 연구(31.4%), 기타(30.4%), 혼합연구(1.3%) 순으로 차지하였다. (5) 연구대상은 혼성이 전체 69%를 차지했으며, 연구대상 유형은 학생(62.7%), 교사(16.7%), 예비교사(13.4%) 순으로 나타났다. (6)자료수집은 심리검사지(30.6%), 관련문헌 수집(30.3%), 면담(16.3%), 질문지(10.2%) 순으로 나타났고, 자료분석은 정량적 분석(73.8%)이 정성적 분석(26.2%)에 비해 훨씬 더 높았다. 이 결과는 초등학생이 표현활동을 통해 성공적인 삶을 살아가는 데 필요한 역량을 습득할 수 있도록 연구설계와 연구방법과 관련하여 논의되었다.
The purpose of this study was to review articles on expressive activity as a one of the learning do- mains in elementary school in order to provide its major research trends and future directions to scholars in this field. All articles were classified in accordance to publication type, research area, themes, learning activity, research design, duration, methodology, subjects, collection and analysis of data. A total of 306 articles (167 master thesis, 12 doctoral dissertations, 105 academic articles, and 22 papers) were collected and analyzed by frequency and cross analysis. The results of this study were as follows: (1)Significant research areas were teaching-learning(65.7%), curriculum(17.0%), and teacher education(13.7%). The purpose of the articles were ranked in order of learning effects (30.1%), pro- gram design and its effect(11.4%), learning contents(9.2%), and teachers’perceptions (9.2%). (2)The topics of the articles were ranked in order of skills(55.4%), knowledge(32.1%), and attitudes(3.2%). (3)Learning activities were ranked in order of physical expressive activity(49.7%), dance(23.5%), and creative dance(7.5%). (4)In research designs a cross-sectional studies accounted for over 43.5% of all articles. In methodology, qualitative research(37.3%), quantitative research(31.4%), others(30.4%), and mixed research(1.3%) were applied. (5) In subjects, mixed gender accounted for over 69%, and types of the subjects were ranked on order of students(62.7%), teachers(16.7%), and pre-service teach- ers(13.4%). (6)Methods dor data collection were psychological inventory(30.6%), related articles(30.3%), interviews(16.3%), and questionnaires(10.2%). In data analysis, quantitative analysis was more used than qualitative analysis. These findings discussed with research design and methodology in order that elementary school students can acquire key competencies necessary for successful life through learn- ing experience of expressive activity in school.
