The Purpose of this study was to find the problems in the management and in the actual conditions of practice classes of the field of machinery at the girls` technical high schools. And the targets of this research was restricted the sophomore girl-students in the three girls` technical high schools in Korea. With them, the research data were made the questionnaire poll by the thirty questions of five field, consulted with a group of experts in this field. The surveyed data was analyzed by the SPSS/Win(Ver. 11.0) program with 0.05 significance level. The main results of this research were as follows: (1) The students of girls` technical high schools were replied to the field of machinery in the future, 77.1% of them answered with having a bright prospect. (2) 56.2% of the girl students thought that the learning contents of the practice classes were currently proper in the trend of engineering development, and 42.6% of them recognized in considering of girl students in making the curriculum of practical job. (3) 40.6% of the students expressed not to finish the assigned practice job. And also 54.5% of the girl students did not have the drilling basic practice class. (4) 43.5% of the students pointed out that the subject of the mechanical technology was not helpful to CNC lathe working or milling machine. (5) 35.2% of the students answered that they didn`t consult with their teacher or modify their designs to solve the given problem in the practice classes. 35.5% of them answered that they utilized the sketching and drawing in solving problems occurred to the practice classes.
