Conducted was this research relating to DACUM committee`s state that communication competency of a new face who had graduated from technical high school and a program for developing communication competency of a new face should be reflected in technical high school curriculum. A perception and a indication as a problem on communication competency of technical high school student of teacher as a supplier with that of student as an end user were compared. For this purpose, 16 schools - 160 teachers and 10 schools - 400 students were selected by the cluster sampling method. The statistical methods utilized in this study were simple statistic as t-test and chi-square, using SPSS-PC+. The results of this study were as follows; 1) There was a meaningful difference between teachers` perception and students` one on a general competency of changing into symbol(mark) of the technical high school students. Teachers indicated that student had no many chance to express one`s thinking and students indicated that contents and range of classes were not fit as a problem on the technical high school students` communication competency. 2) There was a meaningful difference between teachers` perception and students` one on a technical competency of changing into symbol(mark) of the technical high school students. Teachers and students indicated that simply repeated learning centered on get a certification as a problem on the technical high school students` communication competency. 3) There wasn`t a meaningful difference between teachers` perception and students` one on a competency of using communication media(channels) of the technical high school students. Teachers and students indicated that there wasn`t clearly relative subject as a problem on the technical high school student` communication competency. 4) There was a meaningful difference between teachers` perception and students` one on a attitude of technical high school students. Teachers and students indicated the fact that teachers and student had not a need communication competency in the technical high school curriculum.
