This study was to investigate the influence of major satisfaction and self-efficacy of university students majoring in culinary arts on career preparation behavior. The hypothesized relationships in the research model were tested by using structural equation model. The results showed that satisfaction of relationship with professors and satisfaction of social perception had a positive effect on the self-efficacy of students. Also, self-efficacy had a positive effect on career preparation behavior. This study verified the importance of major satisfaction and self-efficacy for positive career preparation behavior. Also, it is necessary to increase the level of major satisfaction and self-efficacy in order to improve career preparation behavior. Also, limitations and future research directions are also discussed.
