The purpose of this study is to identify the effects of the satisfaction in major on the career preparation behavior through the literature and empirical methods. The questionnaire data were collected from 333 and analyzed by using AMOS 17.0.
The results of this study include the followings. First, the satisfaction in major was not directly affected to the career preparation behavior. Second, the satisfaction in major was positively affected to career preparation behavior through the career decision making self-efficacy and the career maturity. Namely, the career decision making self-efficacy and career maturity fully mediated the relationship between the satisfaction in major and the career preparation behavior. Accordingly, the enhance of intrinsic variables related to career through the satisfaction in major is able to facilitate the career preparation behavior. This study contributed to extend the range of study on the satisfaction in major unto the airline service.
