This paper intends to reflect on and explore new ways toward grammar education. To convert grammar learnt by memorization into the one learnt by thinking, materials related to the originality extension must be secured. Therefore, based on some core tasks, learning tasks and materials are proposed and the activities for originality extension are described. Selected tasks are as follows: 1) The activity that finds out that the basic type of ‘불다(pulda)’ is ‘붇다(putta)’ in the exemplary sentence ‘국수가 불었다 (noodles are swollen)’ 2) The activity that examines the distributions and meanings of suffix ‘-답-(tap)’ 3) The activity that finds a part of speech and morpheme bordered with a determinative. 4) The activity that finds out the grammatical differences when idioms are used plainly and idiomatically. 5) The activity that analyzes nominal modifiers that are not considered as relative clauses and classifies the sub-types of relative clauses. The model of grammar education for originality extension can be discussed provided these such materials are developed and accumulated precedently.
