This paper reviewed the current status and problems of Chinese interpreting education in not in the current interpreting major, and carried out the existing research and related analysis to explore differentiating teaching methods from the translation graduate school. First, we recognized that the goal of interpreting education in the undergraduate course is not to produce interpreters from international conferences, but to meet the improvement of the target foreign language skills and basic interpreting techniques, which is clearly different from the graduate school.
In addition, in order to offset students" language level differences as much as possible, to secure effective interpreting practice time in class, and to add an understanding of background knowledge on class subjects, the introduction of a “blended running” combining flip-flip and cooperative learning was proposed.
The consideration of undergraduate interpretation classes, with a qualitative analysis on the foundation of existing research, hopes to carry out further discussion and quantitative research on details such as recognition of interpretation education of Chinese undergraduate students, evaluation of professors and text under the teaching materials.

통역과 번역은 글로벌 커뮤니케이션의 매개이며 그 중요성에 대해서는 이의가 없다. 대부분 국내 대학의 외국어 관련 전공 및 학과는 통역과 번역 관련 교과과정을 개설하고 있다. 그러나 통역과 번역은 다른 전공 분야와는 달리 대학원 교과과정에서 개설된 후 학부에 설치되기 시작했다. 학부 통역 교과과정은 통역번역대학원의 교육적 필요에 맞춘 것으로 학부 교육의 현실과는 많은 차이가 있어 그 효과에 대한 의문이 줄곧 제기되어왔다. 즉 학부 통역 교육에서 최대의 효과를 끌어낼 수 있도록 관련 연구자들의 경험과 방안을 활발하게 논의하고 그 결과 학부생들에게 최적화된 통역 교수법 개발이 절실하다.
학부과정에서 통역 교육의 목표는 국제회의 통역사의 배출이 아니라 목표 외국어 실력의 향상과 기초적인 통역기법을 접하는 데 있다는 점에서 통역대학원과는 분명히 다르다는 점을 인식했다. 또 수강 학생들의 통역에 대한 인식과 어학 수준이 달라 교재 혹은 교재 대용의 텍스트 선정 및 수업 방법에 대한 교수자의 세심한 설계가 필요하다. 이에 학부 통역 교육 과정에서 필요한 통역 훈련 기법의 내용과 방식에 대한 논의를 진행하여 기존 메모리 훈련, 노트 테이킹, 문장구역, 순차통역 효율적인 교수 기법을 제안했다.
이와 함께 학생들의 어학 수준 차이를 가급적 상쇄하고 수업 시간에 효과적인 통역 연습 시간을 확보하며 수업 주제에 대한 배경지식에 대한 이해를 더하기 위해 플립 러닝과 협력학습을 결합한 블렌디드 러닝의 도입을 제시했다. 그리고 학부생들이 통역 수업을 접하면서 어학 실력향상과 기초 통역 기법에 입문하는 교육 목표를 실현하고자 실제 교실에서 진행되는 수업 교안에 대한 설계를 시도했다.
