The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between subjective health perception, subjective body type, body mass index and nutrient intake according to eating frequency. In order to conduct this study, the questionnaire responses of 1,820 people aged 20 to 39 years were used for the analysis by using the first year data of the 7th National Health and Nutrition Survey. Analyzes were performed using frequency analysis, crossover analysis, general linear regression analysis, and logistic regression analysis in the composite sample design using the IBM SPSS 23.0 statistical package. First, the frequency of eating out was significantly higher in one-person households group. Second, although the frequency of eating out and the body mass index did not differ between the gender groups, the body mass index was higher in males with higher frequency of eating out. Third, the group with high frequency of eating out was found to consume much more than the group with low sodium intake and the low frequency of eating out. Therefore, one-person households need regular and balanced eating habits considering their health when eating food through eating out.
