The purpose of the study is to review the relationship of the receptive attitudes about the severe disabilities by the elementary school baseball players and the parents.
The research is based on a survey conducted to 200 baseball players and 150 parents of a elementary school located in Seoul. In total, 274 survey data analysis were used in the following study.
By using the statistical program, SPSS 23.0 Version, the frequency analysis, factor analysis, and reliability analysis were applied. Moreover, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed for the analysis of the collected data.
The final conclusion of the analysis achieved through the steps listed above was as following.
First, depending on the recognition of disabilities of the elementary school baseball players, it caused significant influence in the sub-factors of the receptive attitudes such as rejection of intimacy, generalized rejection, interaction strain, and authoritarian virtuousness. In addition, the recognition of the disabilities caused positive impacts on the receptive attitudes’ sub-factors: rejection of intimacy, distressed identification, generalized rejection, interaction strain, and authoritarian virtuousness. Secondly, The parents’ disabilities recognition followed the significance of sub-factors: generalized rejection, distressed identification, rejection of intimacy, interaction strain, and authoritarian virtuousness of the receptive attitude. Then, according to the disabilities recognition, it also caused positive influence on all the sub-factors of the receptive attitude such as generalized rejection, distressed identification, rejection of intimacy, interaction strain, and authoritarian virtuousness of the receptive attitude.
