The purpose of this study was to investigate the survey of sports injury and to provide basic data for injury prevention in college baseball players, survey was classified into injured part, injured tissue, causes of damage during competition and training. Eighty-five college baseball players (33 pitchers, 35 infielders, 17 outfielders) registered in Korean Sport & Olympic Committee who surveyed. Pitchers in the competition were waist (12.86%), shoulder joint (12.86%), elbow joint (11.43%), and knee joint (10.0%). Infielders showed shoulder joints (10.0%), waist (9.0%), elbow joints (9.0%), wrist joints (9.0%), thighs/groin (8.0%), and outfielders showed elbow joint (14.63%), shoulder joint (12.20%), thighs/groin (12.20%), and knee joint (12.20%). Pitchers during training were shoulder joint (14.13%), elbow joint (11.96%), and ankle joint (10.87%). Infielders showed wrist joints (11.43%), shoulder joints (10.0%), elbow joints (8.57%), and outfielders had elbows (15.38%), knee joints (15.38%), and shoulder joints (12.82%), Thigh/groin (12.82%). Pitchers during the competition showed tissue injury in the order of tendons and bones (21.28%), muscles (19.15%), and ligaments (18.09%). Infielders showed muscle (30.19%), ligaments (22.64%), and bones (20.75%), outfielders followed by ligaments (29.79%), muscles (25.53%), and bones (17.02%). During the training, the pitchers showed injury to the muscles (24.30%), tendons (22.43%), and ligaments (19.63%). Infielders showed ligaments (25.88%), muscles (22.35%), and tendons (18.82%), and outfielders showed muscles (28.0%), ligaments (24.0%), and bones (14.0%). There were 97 cases of non-contact injury and 42 cases of contact injury. These results suggest that older or more experienced baseball players should be more careful in preventing injuries, and the development of specific warm-up and cool-down program and baseball specific training program should be studied to prevent injuries for college baseball players.
