The purpose of this study was to explore the perceptions and attitudes of students without disabilities toward students with disabilities before and after the integrated physical education classes. For this study, six elementary school students who experienced the integrated physical education classes were selected. They were asked to participate in semi-structured interview. The collected data were analyzed by using the thematic analysis (Braun & Clarke, 2006). As a result of data analysis, three themes were emerged: 1) superficial interaction, 2) support after concerns, 3)improved relationship through increased social interaction. The students without disabilities did not show bias or prejudice against students with disabilities before experiencing the integrated physical education classes. But students without disabilities potentially recognized students with disabilities as “in need of help”, “in need of kindness and care”, and “in need of understanding”. This made students without disabilities have limited interaction with students with disabilities. However, participation in the integrated physical education classes was found to have a positive effect on perception and interaction of students with disabilities, which led to improvement in relationship.
