Chungam Kim Jeong, the Sarim of the Commissioner, was Confucian officer at the beginning of the 16th century. He passed the civil service examination in Joseon Dynasty as a winner at the age of 22. And he was the best elite to pass the Second test. The Period he acted as an official at 22-34 is the same time with the decade since Jung Jong Banjeong(1506). At this time Chungam led to reformation with Bak Sang, Jo Kwang-jo to correct the Hungu parties. But in the end, he became a victim in Gimyosawha(1519), finished his short life in 36 years old.
Chungam"s reformations ares usually summed up in two. One was the common political reformation of Salim, the other is the reinstatement movement of deposed queen Sin. By the way the appeal of reinstatement was written by Chungam even though Bak Sang and Kim Jeong appeal to the King together. This is the clue to prove that Kim Jeong is the central status in reinstatement of Sin
Meanwhile in the case of the general reformations are summed up in Hyangyak publication, expelling of Sokyeokseo and Naesusa Jangri, performing Hyeonryanggwa, deriving from contributor merits of Banjeong. It was promoted to keep the pace with Jo Gwangjo"s reformation. Chungam entered into the high position in government 12 years earlier than Jeongam so he supported jengam"s political growth. However, Chungam is not focused enough than Jeonam. That is the why we reform Chungam"s reform movement and his status.
The reformation promoted by wise scholars of Gimyo and Chungam in16th century was the action indeed. It is worth in opening the door of moral philosophy and expelling old politics historically.
