The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of physical function and social health status through the food related life-style from college students. For completion of this study 381 students studying at N university in Geyongnam province have participated in this study. Questionnaires have been used for collecting data. T-test, One-Way ANOVA, Pearson``s correlation analysis and regression analysis have been used for data analysis. The results are followings. First, male students pursued healthier, as well as were higher weight, body and health related factors and achievement motivation, self-esteem, sociality and morality than those of female students in gender. Second, sophomore students pursued more western food, as well as were higher weight, body and health related factors than other student groups. Senior students were higher achievement motivation than that of other student groups in grade. Third, students living in an apartment preferred healthier and more taste, whereas students living in the dormitory were higher weight, body and health related factors, and achievement motivation and self-esteem than those of students living in other groups in the type of residence. Fourth, students having breakfast pursued healthier, as well as were higher weight, body and health related factors, and achievement motivation, self-esteem, sociality and morality than those of students not having breakfast in having breakfast or not having breakfast. Fifth, students working out more than 3 days a week pursued healthier, as well as were higher weight, body and health related factors, and achievement motivation and self-esteem than those of students in other groups in exercise time for a week. Lastly, the food related life-style positively had an influence on physical function and social health status.
