This study examined the relationships of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and job attitude as like job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and intention to quit of family restaurant employee. Data obtained from survey, an self administered questionnaire, of frontline employees working in the several family restaurant in Seoul, Korea. The hypothesis addressed the following question: What are the causal relationships between burnout, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover inclinations? The results show like below, it has strong relationships between burnout components and job attitude. Although most of the hypothesized effects on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and intend to leave were significant, depersonalization was more weakly linked to commitment. Perceived burnout phenomenon has negatively effect on job satisfaction and positively effect on resign intention of employee. All variables of job attitude are significantly affected by emotional exhaustion and depersonalization. The implications for developing and implementing stress management programs for employee and manager are discussed. In the practical implications, restaurant managers can take an action as like a social support to reduce burnout of employee. Suggestions for the future search include other variables in coping and expanding the sampling.
