The purpose of this study is to find two ways to read picturebooks for the paractice of a multicultural society. Two picuturebooks featuring characters that are experiencing multiculturalism. Two characters went to the immigration into the United States from Korea. People are understanding of himself through the face of the other. Readers will experience a multicultural society while reading a picturebook. The reader will understand the person’s experience of minorities in the majority’s position.
Minority and majority party to create a multicultural society that respects each other. How to read a literary work to them as follows:
First, students must make their own attitudes to multiculturalism.
Second, students should understand the multicultural environment faced by people.
Third, students should be able to understand the character from the point of view of a writer.
Fourth, students should look at changing the point of view of the characters.
Fifth, students should check the multicultural attitude of its own in terms of figures and writers.
Sixth, students should understand and express the view of multiculturalism through the pictures.
