The study examined the structural relationships between supportive organizational culture and employees’ organizational behavior, including the trust based communication, organizational engagement, and job satisfaction. To accomplish this goal, secondary data derived from Human Capital Corporate Panel which were collected and organized by the Ministry of Labor in South Korea and Korea Research Institute for Vocational Education and Training were examined. Structural equation modeling was applied to these data. The results revealed a positive relationship of supportive organizational culture with organizational behavior organizational communication with organizational commitment and demonstrated their impact on the effectiveness of supportive organizational culture. Further, this study showed that job satisfaction mediated trust based communication and organizational engagement. Conclusions are discussed, followed by implications for organizational development, and further research suggestions. This study suggests that further researches should be conducted in order to investigate types of human resource development strategies to promote supportive culture in organization.
